The Usha Martin Group of schools holds the unique and unparalleled distinction of hosting a Central Services team comprised of a core group of education professionals to steer the academic delivery vehicle of the 12 schools. The primary deliverable of the team is to ensure standardized inputs and outcomes across all schools. In order to achieve that end the team is engaged in the task of continuously developing products and services, applying state of the art methodology, systems orientation and practices and monitoring and evaluating the outcomes.

The primary tasks of the Central Services team are as follows:

• Framing the school curriculum for the year and setting up frameworks for the school day and daily routine of classes
  
  
• Preparing daily to the minute lesson plans (about 200 per week) for all classes using texts and other researched audio and video materials from all across the world
  
  
• Continuously adjusting pace, quality and content of plans based on weekly feedback from individual class teachers
  
  
• Preparation of school calendar, school
  
  
• Recruitment and selection of School Heads and Teachers using state-of-the-art interview techniques and demonstration teaching related evaluations
  
  
• Setting KRA and Performance Appraisal parameters and conducting performance appraisal
  
  
• Continuous school leadership training based on international best practices
  
  
• Continuous teacher  training international best practices
  
  
• Setting up of school systems and monitoring processes of academic administration and delivery through weekly MIS mechanisms taking cues from  the world’s most successful school systems
